- No organization has taken responsibility for terrorist attack
- Suspecting ISIS in view of past events
There has been news of a major terrorist attack in Afghanistan. Here some gunmen fired indiscriminately at the gurudwara in which at least 4 people died. This incident is also being linked to the dreaded terrorist organization ISIS, because such fears are being raised in view of the attacks of this terrorist organization in the past. The incident was carried out on Wednesday in the middle of Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. Many people are said to have been injured in the attack.
Afghanistan's Interior Ministry told of the incident that the police were stationed at the gurdwara and security arrangements were made, but even after that the gunmen managed to get their intent and opened fire on the innocent devotees. Afghan MP Narendra Singh Khalsa told about the incident that when the attack happened, he was present in the gurdwara. He somehow escaped from there after saving his life. He told that at least 4 people have died and some are injured in the attack.
Let us tell you that there have been peace agreements between the US and the Taliban, but its full impact on the ground is not being seen. A few days ago the Taliban said that if their conditions were not met, they would return to their old ways and start their offensive against foreign military forces. Afghanistan has been a victim of Taliban terrorism for years and many innocent people have lost their lives. The US Army is also stationed here, which President Trump has announced to remove.
No organization has yet claimed responsibility for the attack on the gurdwara on Wednesday, but the needle of suspicion is ticking the ISIS. After the attack, security forces have surrounded the entire gurudwara from all around and further action is being taken. No confirmed information has been found about how much the terrorists have suffered in retaliation. The attack is linked to an incident in this month in which an ISIS-linked militant fired indiscriminately at a procession of Shia Muslims in Kabul in which 32 people were killed. In view of that incident, the gurdwara attack is also being described as a conspiracy by ISIS.
Significantly, there are frequent reports of discrimination against Sikhs in Afghanistan. Sikhs have also been complaining about second-rate treatment with them. Muslim extremists have attacked him many times. In view of this, the lives of Sikhs in Afghanistan are often seen in danger. Wednesday's attack is also an example of this. When the Taliban were at their peak in Afghanistan in the 90s, they had issued a decree that the Sikh community should tie a yellow strap on the arm to reveal themselves. This decree received a lot of criticism in the world fraternity, so this decree could not be implemented.
A large number of Hindus and Sikhs have turned to Hindustan in recent months as the Government of India has approved the Citizenship Amendment Act. Afghan Hindus and Sikhs find the land of India more secure because they have to face violent clashes in addition to religious discrimination. Let me tell you, there are a significant number of Hindus and Sikhs in Afghanistan, but there are plenty of reports of discrimination with them.
